PROJECT DESCRIPTION

All the engineering, diploma and other technical students from first year to final year can get hands on experience in designing and developing various electronics projects with these real-time solder less project kits. Complete assembled project is available in image format besides real time working in audio visuals to help students to complete the experiment with ease and then try engineering skills to attempt the other free circuits.

Toy Motor Speed Control:

The project is designed to control the speed of a BLDC motor using RC time constant by varying the Resistance using an adjustable Preset. BLDC motor has various application used in industries like in drilling, lathes, spinning, elevators, electric bikes etc. The speed control of the DC motors is very essential. This proposed system provides a very precise and effective speed control system.

Based on the principle of PWM speed can be controlled. This circuit is built using 555 timer in astable mode where the pulse width can be modulated by adjusting the RC time constant IN this circuit pwm modulation is done by simplifying varying the resistance. The desired speed in percentage of full speed can be set using an adjustable pot provided in the circuit. The 555 timer delivers desired pulse width to automatically adjust the DC power to the motor for required speed. The motor is driven by two NPN transistor coupled in the form of a darlington pair thus avoiding the usage of MOSFET which are expensive.

Kit Contents: Sensor, Solderless Multipurpose breadboard, Set of Components, Accessories, Motor, Wire.

 With this solderless breadboard approach none of the component is soldered, hence all the components can be used again and again to try such multiple circuits.
