The main goal of this project is to develop a fastest-finger-first quiz buzzer system that can be used to recognize the participant who presses the buzzer fastest and first among all in a group of people in a quiz competition by the quiz computation sensor (D-flip-flop).

 This circuit includes 8 numbers of push buttons which are fed to a D-type flip-flop. This flip-flop generates an O/P signal, which is fed to a transistor, making the corresponding LED to switch ON and also generate a buzzer sound.

 This project in future can be enhanced by using a display to indicate the order in which the switches are pressed.

A:  The microcontroller used in this project is a 40 pin IC from 8051 family.

A:  This project can be used in crowded areas like temple, bus stations etc,
Q:  How many switches are provided with this project?
A:  About 8 switches are provided with this project, along with 8 LEDs.
Q:  What is the formula for calculating smoothing capacitor value?
A:  There is some approximated formula .Peak to peak ripple voltage = Load current in amps / (2*line frequency in hertz *capacitance in farads). But as rule of thumb for 1 A current 1000uF is best. Thus it is load dependent.

After watching the website i really liked the projects and their presentation that’s why i have decided to buy project from edgefx. I like the presentation of the project.
the project was delivered on time with right components.
i have called the customer service people.They have helped me in purchasing the project.
please provide more and more projects on IRLED. Please provide variety of projects for upcoming engineering students.
I know the there was blog for edgefx called elprocus. In that there was detailed description of components and project. I liked it.
