Swarm robotics is a very interesting concept in robotics that depends not on singularly advanced or smart artificial intelligence, but intelligence in numbers. In terms of robotics, it involves mostly simple physical robots that exhibit complex behavior by interaction with each other, or with the environment as a whole. Inspired by the phenomenon observed in some insects, birds and animals called swarm intelligence, swarm robotics uses similar principles, relying on constant feedback and a de-centralized structure. The term ‘swarm’ is generally applied to insects, but can also be used to refer to other animals exhibiting similar behavior. While still in its infancy, swarm robotics has a huge potential in diverse areas, and could fundamentally change how we deal with automation and robotics in general. [Read more…]
Touchscreens are electronic displays-cum-input devices used in a wide variety of devices today. Over the past few years, touchscreens went from a technological fantasy to something so widespread that it’s now considered standard. Go back a few decades, and touchscreens would be looked at as nothing short of magic. Yet here we are, using them in our daily lives. It’s quite wondrous to think that technology is advancing so rapidly that in a couple of years, even what we consider impossible now would be very much doable. If you’ve ever wondered about how this technology works, you’ve come to the right place!
Teaching, instructing, leading and guiding a group of people is not a simple task, and it doesn’t give any sense without proper knowledge, approach and practice. We being a pioneer in engineering projects’ development offer electronic solutions and services and take pride in being officially recognized and certified company. Nevertheless technical responsibility prompts and makes us to think out of the box, and stand us in a different way for building projects that produce efficient and qualitative products. [Read more…]
HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface. Introduced in 2003 to work with the then upcoming high definition content, HDMI is more than just a cable, it’s actually a set of rules, an interface that connects multiple devices and lets them communicate with increased fidelity. [Read more…]
Ever since the dawn of time, man has worked tirelessly to make life better. With the advent of computers and the internet, communication and information transfer has become extremely easy. But there’s always been one common way of interacting with these machines. [Read more…]
Have you ever wondered what the little “E” next to your mobile phone network indicator meant? What it signifies? EDGE stands for ‘Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution’. Even though higher communication standards are already being used, like 3G and 4G, EDGE is still one of the most popular data systems used in GSM networks today, especially in countries like India, where 4G is a long way off, and 3G is still not widespread.
The raspberry pi was developed by the foundation of Raspberry in UK. It is a single computer board like a credit card. The operating systems of Raspberry pi are the different versions of Linux. We cannot install it on Microsoft windows because of a different processor. To buy a Raspberry pi, there are a few companies which are selling the Raspberry online like Newark element14, Egoman and Rs components. The main intention of designing a Raspberry Pi is promoting the teaching of basic computer science in schools. [Read more…]
A microcontroller is a small computer on a single integrated chip that is programmed to control the devices. Most of the embedded-based projects require knowledge about programming the microcontroller. Once students get an idea about the circuit, schematics and their operations, it becomes really easy to program a microcontroller. [Read more…]
For the policemen, nabbing criminals has always remained a big challenge. However, the ever increasing technological advances like the usage of electronic devices with GPS system, to a certain extent, have eased their challenge. Thus, GPS system plays very crucial role for all types of security and communication systems used in railways and location based systems.
